These wool felt ribbons will speed up all your projects! Felt is hard to cut straight with a rotary cutter or scissor when the width is narrow. But, our ribbons are all perfectly straight. They are 2 yards long so you don't have worry about running out in the middle of a project. The uses for these ribbons are limitless. Unlike polyester ribbon, the edges do not have to be heat sealed when cut because it doesn't fray. Wool felt is saturated with color, soft, and evenly dense. Pure wool is fuzz resistant unlike acrylic or wool blend felt. Great for: quilts, scrapbooks, bows, binding edges of a blanket, toys, dolls, pillows, and hair clips

100% wool felt manufactured in Western Europe Felt is approximately 1mm thick (1/16 inch) Nonflammable Certified safe for babies and children under Oeko-Tex Standard 100. The Oeko-Tex® Standard 100 is a globally uniform testing and certification system for textiles. Product has been tested for chemicals known to be harmful to health, such as lead, and conforms to the highest safety class (class 1). Spot clean with damp towel or dry clean for best results. Color may bleed, especially the red. Felt will shrink when exposed to heat such as a dryer or iron. To preserve felt in original state, allow felt to air dry. Place wool in dryer if you want a boiled wool appearance. Fabric will shrink dramatically in dryer and become thicker, with shrinkage dependent on heat setting. Test washing techniques with a small piece of wool first.
