Bias Binding - Sold in 1 yard increments.
- Bias binding is professionally made in a double fold booklet style. Visible width is approximately 1/2 inch (1.5 cm). Bias bindings are sold by the yard. We always aim to ship multiple bias yardages in a continuous piece. However, on rare occasions this may not be possible due to inventory on hand. If you MUST have it in a continuous piece, please leave a note when you check out. If we are unable to accommodate that request, we will contact you before processing your order.
Felt Backed - Sold in pieces of 8"X12"
- We bond fabric to our luxurious 100% merino wool felt. Our felt backed fabric is fray resistant so you can cut it the same way you would cut our wool felt. We carefully evaluate each fabric and we adjust our bonding process to maintain the softest hand possible while minimizing frays. In general, the finer and/or thinner the fabric (e.g., Liberty lawn) the softer the felt back fabric will be whereas heavier weighted fabrics will have a different hand.
- The felt backed fabric has up to a 0.25" variance in height and/or width. Purchases of multiple pieces of the same size will be shipped as separate pieces, not as a continuous piece. Felt used to back fabric is made of 100% merino wool in a coordinating color matching the fabric. Please note that the heat bonding process results in a product that is stiffer than the fabric or the wool felt is individually. For cutting, we recommend using a sharp scissor or steel rule dies (e.g., dies compatible with Sizzix Big Shot). Thin wafer dies may not cut through the material. Felt backed fabric cannot be machine washed since it is bonded to 100% wool. Dry clean or spot clean only.
Fabric Only - Sold in 1/2 yard increments (18" X 44"). Full width of fabric is 44"
- To buy multiple yards, select Fabric and increase the quantity. Example: A purchase of 3 Qty with a selection on Fabric will be for 1.5 linear yards of this print. All yards of the same print will be shipped continuously whenever possible but is not guaranteed. Leave us a note if yards must be continuous. If we are unable to meet this request, we will contact you before processing your order.
** Unless there is a defect with our product, all bias binding, felt backed fabric, and fabric yardages are final. Once the material has been cut for you, you may not return it. If the item is defective for any reason, we will gladly accept the return or exchange.
